New Playground Installation at Cochrane Park

It was an eventful day in Koo Wee Rup, where A-Play (now a_space) recently launched a spectacular brand new playground at Cochrane Park for Cardinia Shire Council.

The playground features a brand new Whirl Swing and Whirly Go Round 3000. Students from Koo Wee Rup Primary Schools and other local residents had alot of fun using these two items and the overall play area has been very well received by the wider community.

Thanks to Cardinia Shire Council, Koo Wee Rup now has a family-friendly rest area designed to suit people of all abilities. Furthermore, the facilities accompanying the playground make for a fantastic rest area and barbeque spot for holiday makers and passers through.

This week, a Councillor at Coffs Harbour City Council put forward the idea of a playground for seniors?

Not exactly, the Councillor was putting forward the concept of outdoor gyms accessible to seniors as a means of getting seniors in the community more active.
