Brisbane City Council has fully embraced a_space equipment to promote active healthy spaces in Council’s open space strategy.
Council chose to utilise both static and dynamic equipment in 2 new installations in Toowong. In both Anzac Park and Perrin Park, Council has placed an emphasis on providing free-to-use equipment to help promote inclusion and wellness.
Accessibility was a key consideration for Council when choosing equipment for these parks. They wanted inclusive elements that would suit everyone – the young and old and everyone in between.
a_space equipment was Councils choice, predominantly due to being a quality Australian made product at a reasonable price.
As you can see in the video by 7 News Brisbane, users of the park come from diverse backgrounds to utilise the equipment.
Thanks to a_space’s easy to read signage and QR codes with links to instructional videos, anyone can use the equipment. Even if you’ve never tried the equipment before and have no idea where to start, you can get a full-body workout with support.
a_space are proud to be viable Australian Manufacturers who supply innovative outdoor fitness equipment to Government, Education, Developers and Landscape Architects who are looking to provide a point of difference
Both parks were designed with both the Fit for Parks and Fitness Extra Ranges to provide a mix of equipment in the parks.
