The growth of this popular school created the need for a play space for upper primary students. The challenge was to create a structure to accommodate lots of students in a relatively small footprint which included a recently installed Explorer Net which was to be retained and ideally integrated into the design solution.
Having engaged with the students and key stakeholders a multi-level Play Tower was designed to incorporate an enormous amount of play value accessible to a large number of students. The Play Tower was designed in the same colour scheme as the existing Adventure Net to ensure it seamlessly integrated into the space.
The striking structure has become a landmark at the school
delivering a unique play experience for the students, further
encouraging socialisation and enhancing levels
of physical activity.
