Wesley had two old playground units that were ending their serviceable life and losing the interest of students. They wanted the consolidate the two old units with one large unit that would be exciting, engaging and visually impressive. There was an existing shade structure that the new equipment needed to fit below ensuring appropriate clearance for compliance.
We customised a design that combined pieces from our new Organic Range combining vibrant colours with natural Australian timbers, and our Explorer Nets range. The unit included a ‘lookout tower’ which students could scale up and overlook the playground, with a cubby space underneath incorporating fun and educational activity panels.
The new equipment has been a hit with students and the school community. The video accompanying this project shares the school’s delight.
