The goal of this project was to create a visually striking playspace that delivers a true WOW factor for visitors to BIG4 Bellarine Holiday Park. The design needed to cater to all ages and abilities, offering an adventurous and engaging experience for every child. Durability was a top priority, ensuring the playground could withstand the harsh Australian climate and frequent use across holiday seasons. Additionally, the playspace had to blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings and complement the existing park facilities, creating an inviting environment for families.
We delivered a custom-designed, all-ages play zone, blending elements from its extensive range to create a visually striking and highly engaging playspace. At its core, Spire Towers linked by activity cubes offer adventurous climbing challenges such as monkey bars, rock walls and slides, while freestanding features like a conical climbing net, nest swing, spinner and A-frame swing set add variety for all age groups. The design incorporates durable, Australian-made materials and a natural colour palette of blues, greens and browns to harmonise with the coastal environment. Safety and accessibility were prioritised with compliant surfacing, timber mulch, and perimeter pathways, complemented by seating, picnic areas and native landscaping. The result is a high-value, weather-resilient play destination that provides BIG4 guests with an immersive, adventurous experience season after season.
