As part of our commitment to improving sustainability and reducing our carbon emissions, a_space has partnered with Greenfleet; a leading not-for-profit environmental organisation focused on protecting our climate by restoring our forests.
By partnering with Greenfleet, a_space is now offsetting carbon emissions with every new playground and outdoor gym that we install. In the process we are helping to address critical deforestation, capture carbon emissions to protect our climate, reduce soil erosion, improve water quality and restore habitat for wildlife, including many endangered species.
Since 1997, Greenfleet has planted 10.5 million native trees creating 550 legally protected native forests in Australia and New Zealand that will offset 4.5 million tonnes of carbon across their lifetime. The forests are legally protected for up to 100 years.
