A vibrant multi-generational playground in Tasmania’s South East, created to honour Madison Lyden’s legacy and inspire families through play, fitness, and connection.

Multi-generational memorial play space

Created as a heartfelt tribute to Tasmanian Madison Lyden, this meaningful playspace was delivered within a 323 lot subdivision in Tasmania’s South East, developed by Rob Lynch. Deeply connected to the family, the project was envisioned as a place of remembrance, reflection, and community connection, honouring Madison’s legacy through a vibrant, inclusive environment where families could gather and create lasting memories.

The final design centred on a multi generational destination that encourages participation across all ages and abilities. Key features include a striking Spire Tower as the hero element, a dedicated play structure for younger children, a Park Warrior obstacle course to challenge older children, teens and adventurous adults, and a thoughtfully integrated outdoor fitness area suitable for all fitness levels. Together, these elements create a dynamic and engaging space that supports active play, physical wellbeing, and social interaction.

Officially opened in Madison’s name, the playground now stands as a lasting community asset, offering a place filled with joy, connection, and purpose, ensuring her memory continues to inspire families for generations to come.
