Brief

ASpace was approached by a leading landscape architect engaged by Council to design a showcase space for kids and adults to play, exercise and socialise together. The space was located beside a new sporting oval within a new housing development.

One of our experienced designers collaborated with the landscape architect to develop a multi generational space incorporating playground equipment for children of all ages, a Park Warrior obstacle course to engage teens and young adults and an outdoor gym for adults of all ages and fitness levels. The space provides clearly delineated zones separated by paths and landscaping.

Since opening, the facility has proven a major hit with local residents and visitors to the neighbouring sports field. It is achieving the objective of bringing people of all ages together. Often parents and carers are seen using the exercise equipment while their children enjoy the playground.
