Sporting retailer, Intersport, has found a novel way to encourage people to exercise. Customers were invited to “run the logo” and in return receive a discount on Interplay running gear.
Customers used a running app to record their journey. They then used Facebook to share it with their friends. For every kilometre run they received a 1% discount.
So if you ran 15km you would receive 15%.
The campaign was based in the Czech Republic and has since received worldwide attention. It’s fantastic to see a company rewarding customers for exercise and we hope to see more of it.
